Tailoring Vascular‐Immune Homeostasis via Manganese‐DNA Complex‐Armed Immunogenic Extracellular Vesicles for Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy
Advanced Science, EarlyView. This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,Xue Jiang, Lihuan Shang, Xiaochun Chen, Xiangzhan Kong, Xiaojuan Wang, Linjia Jiang, Huiying Zhao, Yafeng Zhu, Cheng Huang, Shiyi Deng, Rui Zhang, Minghui Wang, Haoming Lin, Ping‐Pui Wong +13 morewiley +1 more sourceEngineering an endocrine Neo-Pancreas by repopulation of a decellularized rat

Advanced Science, EarlyView. In KRAS‐mutant tumors, KRAS transcriptionally upregulates COA4 via the PI3K/AKT/E2F1 axis, promoting metastasis. Mechanistically, COA4 enhances tumor cell migration through dual pathways: within mitochondria, it boosts oxidative phosphorylation; in the cytoplasm, it binds and activates CDC42 to stimulate pseudopodia formation.Xingzhao Ji, Weiying Zhang, Fuyuan Xue, Jiazhen Zeng, Qinghua Zhao, Xiaoming Sun, Jian Sun, Heng Zhou, Quanlin Xu, Guoyuan Ma, Shengnan Sun, Ying Wang, Qian Mu, Yi Liu, Qiang Wan +14 morewiley +1 more sourceSingle‐Cell Dissection of the Biological Function and Molecular Features Underlying the Micropeptide LSMEM1 in Kidney
Advanced Science, EarlyView.LSMEM1, an evolutionarily conserved micropeptide with extreme hydrophobicity (aliphatic index═113) and dynamic amphiphilicity (GRAVY═0.017), features a strong α‐helical transmembrane anchor (residues 64‐86). Single‐cell analysis reveals its critical role in renal lipid homeostasis.Peimin Liu, Hong Zhang, Shanzhi Yang, Jiaoqing Li, Danfeng Wu, Haosen Xu, Huan Jiang, Yi Jing, Guoxiang Jin, Ruobing Liu, Ning Fan, Xiaoyan Bai +11 morewiley +1 more sourceMinimally invasive versus open distal pancreatectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (DIPLOMA): study protocol for a randomized controlled trial [PDF]

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Through synthetic biology approaches, natural bacteria can be genetically programmed into multifunctional living therapeutics. These engineered bacteria are capable of secreting anti‐tumor factors, displaying tumor‐associated antigens on their surface, or undergoing programmed self‐lysis to release therapeutic cargo.Jiangfeng Chen, Jiaqi Chen, Yixuan Chen, Wenxuan Yuan, Jiao Zhang, Guoqing Wang, Zhuojun Dai +6 morewiley +1 more sourceIntegrin αvβ6‐Targeted PET/CT Imaging of Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer with [68Ga]Ga‐Trivehexin: Improved Preoperative Lymph Node Staging and Association with Immunohistochemistry
