Pancreatic duct stents

Journal of Digestive Diseases, 2022
Pancreatic duct stenting using endoscopy or surgery is widely used for the management of benign and malignant pancreatic diseases. Pancreatic Ducts and Postoperative Pancreatitis

Archives of Surgery, 1963

Pancreatic Duct Diversity

Pancreas, 2009
The formation of the pancreatic duct system is the result of the fusion of 2 embryonic buds, the ventral and dorsal primordia. Frequently, this fusion process is localized in the pancreatic head; variations, however, may account for the structural diversity of the duct system.

Pancreatic Duct Cell Cultures

Annual Review of Physiology, 1994
The duct cell is a minor cell type of the pancreas, which comprises 10% of the cells and 4% of the volume of the pancreas (39). The predominant acinar cells are much denser than the other cell types because of their large content of zymogen granules (145), thus the duct cells contain less than 4% of the pancreatic protein.

MASSIVE PANCREATIC DUCT HAEMORRHAGE

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1996
Direct fistula between the splenic artery and the pancreatic duct is briefly reviewed. The literature indicates that such a fistula is almost always due to a pancreatic artery aneurysm. Because of diagnostic difficulties, a variety of operations have been performed on these patients prior to arriving at the correct diagnosis.
