The Application of Engineered Nanomaterials in Perinatal Therapeutics
Pregnancy is a vulnerable life stage for the mother and developing fetus. Because of this concern, approved therapeutic options for pre‐existing conditions, pregnancy‐induced pathologies, placental deformities, or fetal concerns are extremely limited. Recent advancements in nanomedicine have made the development of perinatal therapeutics an attractive ...

ABSTRACT Background Neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) are a crucial component of anesthesia and intensive care through the relaxation of skeletal muscles. They can lead to adverse reactions such as postoperative residual neuromuscular block. Only one agent is capable of an instant block reversal in deep block situations, but is restricted to ...

DISTRIBUTION AND KINETICS OF 14C-VECURONIUM IN RATS AND MICE [PDF]
The distribution and kinetics of 14C-vecuronium were studied in rats and mice. 14C-Vecuronium accumulated rapidly in the liver. Both unchanged and metabolized vecuronium were excreted with the bile into the intestines and stomach. Reabsorption in the gut

Pancuronium bromide: an indirect sympathomimetic agent.
In the dog, pancuronium 0.2 mg/kg increased left ventricular systolic pressure and systemic arterial pressure, but did not change central venous pressure. Repeated doses produced diminishing responses and eventually no change in arterial pressure.
