Analysis of the optimum tilt angle for a soiled PV panel
Abstract A new model of the optimum tilt angle of a soiled photovoltaic (PV) panel is proposed in this paper. The tilt angle is a key factor that influences the output power of PV panel, while dust deposition is an inevitable external element to be considered.

Experiment on PV panels tilt angle and dust
2016 5th International Conference on Electronic Devices, Systems and Applications (ICEDSA), 2016The performance of PV solar panels depend on dust accumulated on them and tilt angle. For every location in the world there is an optimum tilt angle of dust free PV panels for best performance. However, in some areas of the world dust is an obstacle for PV panels operation.

Determination of the solar cell panel installation angle
4th IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems. IEEE PEDS 2001 - Indonesia. Proceedings (Cat. No.01TH8594), 2005The output power of the solar cell panel is highly affected by the sunlight incident angle. The efficiency can be improved if the solar cell panel is properly installed with the optimum angle. The relationship between the sunlight incident angle and the sunlight radiation intensity on the solar cell panel surface is presented in this paper.

The crush resistance of four-panel angle elements
International Journal of Impact Engineering, 2015Abstract Four-panel angle elements are frequently encountered in multi-cell sections. To predict the energy absorption of such sections under axial loading, theoretical models have to be established for possible collapse modes of these elements. In this paper, four-panel angle elements are classified into four types: corner element, K-shaped, X ...

Optimization of the Tilt Angle of Solar Panels for Malaysia
Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization, and Environmental Effects, 2015This article presents a method for optimizing the tilt angle of photovoltaic module/array installed in the five sites in Malaysia. The optimization method is based on the Liu and Jordan model for solar energy incident on a tilt surface considering monthly and seasonal tilt angles.

Spring-in of angled sandwich panels
Composites Science and Technology, 2005This paper presents a simple analytical model for the prediction of thermo-elastic deformation (spring-in) of angled composite sandwich panels. The development of the model is presented and the simplifying assumptions are clearly defined. Contributions from different mechanisms are clearly shown which gives a good understanding of the problem.

Effect of incidence angle and panel size on the phase of scattered energy from panel arrays
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2005This investigation focuses on factors that influence scattering from different ceiling panel arrays (e.g., incidence angle, and array size and density) by examining the scattered phase.
