A Panel-CADF Test for Unit Roots [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper we propose the extension of the covariate-augmented Dickey Fuller (CADF) test for unit roots developed by Hansen (1995} to the panel case. We show that the extension is viable and gives power gains with respect to the time series approach. Particular attention is paid to cross-unit dependence.

Is GDP in ASEAN countries stationary? New evidence from panel unit root tests [PDF]

open access: yes
This study investigated stationary process in real per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in nine ASEAN countries, namely, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

Is Per Capita Real GDP Stationary in the OECD Countries? Evidence from a Panel Unit Root Test [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper examines the stationarity of real GDP per capita for 27 OECD countries during the period 1950 to 2004. Using ADF unit root test on single time series, it is found that real GDP per capita series of most OECD countries have unit root.

A Simple Panel-CADF Test for Unit Roots [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we propose a simple extension to the panel case of the covariate- augmented Dickey Fuller (CADF) test for unit roots developed in Hansen (1995).

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

Investigating the Convergence Clubs among Provinces of Iran during 2000-2009 [PDF]

open access: yesپژوهشهای اقتصادی, 2014
The convergence hypothesis is a result of the neoclassical growth model. By definition, the concept of convergence is the faster growth of regions (economies) with lower per capita income compared to the regions (economies) with higher per capita income.

Testing Gibrat’s law: empirical evidence from panel unit root tests of turkish firms [PDF]

open access: yes
The purpose of this paper is to use panel unit root tests to see if Gibrat’s law holds in Turkey. Gibrat's Law establishes that firm growth is a random walk, it means that the probability of a given proportional change in size during a specified period ...

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...

Bootstrap Unit Root Tests in Panels with Cross-Sectional Dependency [PDF]

open access: yes
We apply bootstrap methodology to unit root tests for dependent panels with N cross-sectional units and T time series observations. More specifically, we let each panel be driven by a general linear process which may be different across cross-sectional ...
