Machine Learning Application to Optimize Spent Mushroom Compost (SMC) Biochar as Filter Media for Heavy Metal Adsorption in Abandoned Mine Water

This study uses spent mushroom compost biochar as a sustainable solution for heavy metal removal in abandoned mining ponds. A novel application of adaptive neuro‐fuzzy inference system is employed to predict the biochar efficiency. Design charts are produced for various conditions as part of a framework for practical applications.
