Fatigue analysis of catenary contact wires for high speed trains [PDF]
The fatigue fracture is one of the most critical failures which may occur on the high speed network because it is undetectable and it has a huge impact on traffic disruption.

Analysis on exponential stability of hybrid pantograph stochastic differential equations with highly nonlinear coefficients [PDF]
This paper discusses exponential stability of solutions for highly nonlinear hybrid pantograph stochastic differential equations (PSDEs). Two criteria are proposed to guarantee exponential stability of the solution.

In this manuscript, we proposed physics‐informed surrogate model, called FENet, for the first time to solve the interaction of pantograph‐catenary system. In recent years, much progress has been achieved in PCS modelling solutions. Existing solutions, however, suffer from two significant limitations: 1) An urgent concern arises regarding the ...

Some properties of the functional equation ϕ(x)=f(x)+∫0λxg(x,y,ϕ(y))dy
A discussion is given of some of the properties of the functional Volterra Integral equation ϕ(x)=f(x)+∫0λxg(x,y,ϕ(y))dy. and of the corresponding multidimensional equation.

Introduction of variability in pantograph-catenary dynamic simulations [PDF]
Currently, pantograph-catenary dynamic simulations codes are mainly based on deterministic approaches. However, the contact force between catenary and pantograph depends on many key parameters that are not always quantified precisely.

Total Cost of Ownership of Electric Vehicles: A Synthesis of Critical Factors
This study uses a systematic review to evaluate the total cost of ownership (TCO) as a tool for assessing electric vehicle (EV) feasibility compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. Findings highlight that while EVs have higher upfront costs, supportive policies and lower operating expenses can enhance their competitiveness.

Fractional stochastic differential equations with memory effects are fundamental in modeling phenomena across physics, biology, and finance, where long‐range dependencies and random fluctuations coexist, yet their stability analysis under non‐Lipschitz conditions remains a significant challenge, particularly for systems involving Riemann–Liouville ...

Existence of solutions for hybrid fractional pantograph equations
In this paper, we study the existence of the hybrid fractional pantograph equation {D?0+[x(t)/f(t,x(t),x(?t))= g(t,x(t), x(?t)), 0 < t < 1, x(0) = 0, where ?,?,? ?((0,1) and D?0+ denotes the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. The results are obtained using the technique of measures of noncompactness in the Banach algebras and a ...

RESEARCH ON VIBRATION CONTROL METHOD OF TRAIN PANTOGRAPH
In this paper, the vibration control method of train pantograph is studied. A dynamic equation based on Newton’s second law is established for the two element pantograph model.
