ABSTRACT The WHO/IUIS Allergen Nomenclature Sub‐Committee is an international body of experts that maintains the systematic nomenclature of allergenic proteins by assigning official names to newly identified allergens submitted by researchers. A New Experimental Setup to Study the Olfactory Behaviour of Trichogramma Egg Parasitoids

We developed an experimental setup to assess odor‐induced egg‐laying behavior in tiny egg‐parasitoid wasps. This Y‐shaped olfactometer, coupled with an AI‐based image‐recognition model, automatically quantifies egg parasitism by Trichogramma wasps. Olfactory‐driven egg‐laying preferences were analyzed using Bayesian inference.

Orchard Management Influences Predation of Halyomorpha halys Eggs

We investigated predation of eggs of the invasive stink bug Halyomorpha halys on apple trees in conventional, organic, and extensively managed Dutch orchards. Predation exceeded 40% in extensively managed orchards but was only about 10% in conventional and organic ones. We used camera traps to reveal natural enemies that may contribute to H.

Aliens vs. paper wasps: new records of Darwin wasps parasitizing social wasps in Brazil

This study reports new associations between Ichneumonidae and social wasps, contributing to the under-standing of the ecological relationships between species and expanding current knowledge of their geo-graphic distribution. We identified a total of five Ichneumonidae species associated with colonies of five species of social wasps.
