What's New? High‐grade serous ovarian carcinoma is often diagnosed at advanced stages due to non‐specific symptoms and the lack of reliable screening methods. This proof‐of‐concept study introduces a novel TP53 mutation panel using unique molecular identifier‐based next‐generation sequencing for sensitive detection of high‐grade serous ovarian ...

ABSTRACT Although prostate cancer is among the most common malignant tumors in men, brain metastases from prostatic cancer are infrequent. Brain dissemination is especially rare with the most frequent histological type of prostatic adenocarcinoma. We present a case of a cystic‐hemorrhagic cerebellar metastasis with a solid enhancing component in a ...

Abstract Background Nongynecologic (non‐GYN) cytology plays an important role in cellular and molecular cancer diagnosis, although its use is limited by variability and interobserver discrepancies. Recent studies suggest that artificial intelligence (AI) may improve diagnostic consistency and performance.

Preoperative Detection of Dual TERT Promoter Mutations in Thyroid Cancer: A Case Series
ABSTRACT Telomerase reverse transcriptase promoter (TERTp) mutations are associated with aggressive thyroid cancer and are most frequently found in anaplastic and poorly differentiated thyroid cancer. Pre‐operative thyroid nodule molecular testing can detect TERTp, denoting a high risk of malignancy and possible aggressive clinical features such as ...

Cytological Clues to Pharyngoesophageal Diverticula Mimicking Thyroid Nodules
ABSTRACT Pharyngoesophageal diverticula (PED) are uncommon hypopharyngeal outpouchings that may mimic thyroid nodules because of their close anatomic proximity to the thyroid gland. We describe two cases in which PED presented as thyroid nodules and resulted in atypical cytological findings.
