ABSTRACT Papillorenal syndrome (PAPRS), or renal coloboma syndrome, is a rare autosomal dominant disorder caused by PAX2 mutations. It classically manifests with renal hypodysplasia and optic nerve anomalies. However, recent literature suggests an expanding phenotypic spectrum.

The Impact of OFDM-IM System Parameters on the Performance of the SLM PAPR Reduction Technique
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing with Index Modulation (OFDM-IM) is an effective communication technology that utilizes subcarrier indices to transmit information in addition to the information traditionally modulated on active subcarriers ...

Research on Low-complexity PAPR Reduction Algorithm in Radar-communication Integrated System [PDF]
This paper proposes a low-complexity Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR) reduction algorithm to deal with the high PAPR of radar-communication integrated system of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) based on Fractional Fourier Transform(FRFT).

The potential gains of NOMA were evaluated in a satellite system with heterogeneous receivers, after considering the use of specific DVB‐S2X MODCODs, along with the impact of non‐linearities. It was concluded that a judicious power allocation in NOMA, jointly optimized with the IBO of the PAs, can yield significant sum‐rate gains.

A major drawback of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals is the high value of peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Partial transmit sequences (PTS) is a popular PAPR reduction method with good PAPR reduction performance, but its ...

Flexible Multi-Group Single-Carrier Modulation: Optimal Subcarrier Grouping and Rate Maximization
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and single-carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) are two commonly adopted modulation schemes for frequency-selective channels. Compared to SC-FDE, OFDM generally achieves higher data rate, but at

X‐ray crystallographic analysis of super‐folder green fluorescent protein (sfGFP), a common reporter protein, displaying p‐(phenylazo)‐L‐phenylalanine (Pap) at amino acid position 39 on its surface in complex with α‐cyclodextrin (α‐CD) reveals an unexpected conformation of the photoswitchable side chain and illustrates its light‐dependent ...

PAPR Reduction in PAM-DMT based WDM VLC
Visible light communication (VLC) can achieve high data rate transmission with discrete multitone (DMT) systems. A DMT variant is pulse-amplitude-modulated discrete multitone modulation (PAM-DMT) which offers an energy-efficient modulation solution for VLC. However, similar to other DMT modulation techniques, PAM-DMT suffers from a high peak-to-average
