Two‐Photon Absorption in Perovskite Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The two‐photon absorption (TPA) models used for perovskite semiconductors were primarily developed for conventional semiconductors and neglect the unique perovskite band structure. We have developed a model for the perovskite TPA coefficient, incorporating the inter‐ and intra‐band transitions in the conduction band states.

Diffusion‐Governed Growth Mechanisms of Epitaxial GaAs Islands on CMOS‐Compatible Si(001) Nanotip Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The mechanism and kinetics of selective GaAs growth on Si nanotip wafers via nanoheteroepitaxy were investigated as a function of pitch (center‐to‐center nanotip spacing). The pitch dependence reveals distinct surface‐diffusion‐controlled regimes, demonstrating that lateral Ga adatom transport on the SiO2 mask governs material redistribution and ...

Growth dynamics, skeletochronology, and histovariability of the theropod dinosaur Berthasaura leopoldinae

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Osteohistological sampling on different bones of theropod dinosaur documents discrepant age record, growth, and metabolism. This could result unprecise paleobiological inferences if samplings are based on single bones. However, multi‐bone sampling can attenuate these discrepancies, helping to infer growth dynamics and physiology of these extinct ...

Principal Component‐Based Classification of Blazar Candidates of Uncertain Type in the 4FGL/LAT

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We adopted principal component analysis (PCA), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), and support vector machines (SVM), to study classification for a sample of 2708 Fermi blazars: 1142 BL Lac objects (BLLs), 759 flat spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs), and 807 blazar candidates of uncertain type (BCUs).
