Some results from parabolic flights
Advances in Space Research, 1986Abstract On december 1984 and july 1985 parabolic flights with a KC 135 aircraft of NASA allow to perform preliminary tests on the Benard instability problem which has been proposed to be studied during the D2 mission in the AFPM. On march 1986 the possibility to create a flat interface between two immiscible liquids has been investigated.

Flight behaviour of pigeons in the weightless phase of parabolic flight.
Aviation, space, and environmental medicine, 1975Pigeons were subjected to changes in G-loading during parabolic flight with special attention to their flight behaviour in the weightless periods. Experiments were performed 1) with the eyes covered, 2) with the legs tied to the body, 3) with eyes covered and legs tied, and 4) with none of these handicaps.

Affective states and adaptation to parabolic flights
Acta Astronautica, 2017This exploratory study investigates (i) inter-individual variations of affective states before a parabolic flight (i.e., PF) on the basis of quality of adaptation to physical demands, and (ii) intra-individual variations of affective states during a PF.

Who dares to join a parabolic flight?
Acta Astronautica, 2016Abstract Parabolic flights represent an important tool in space research to investigate zero gravity on airplanes. Research on these flights often target psychological and biological processes in humans to investigate if and how we can adapt to this unique environment.

Ergometry in Space and during Parabolic Flights
1991Usually ergometry in healthy subjects is used to quantify the effect of a training programme. Even determining fitness by maximal oxygen intake technique, the workload of the test itself is small compared to the muscular load of the entire training programme and therefore negligible.

The second parabolic flight campaign for students.
ESA bulletin. Bulletin ASE. European Space Agency, 2008In conjunction with the European Commission's 'European Week for Scientific and Technological Culture' in November, ESA organised the second parabolic flight campaign for students. Students selected through a competition, were again given the unique opportunity of experiencing weightlessness as they performed their own scientific experiment during a ...
