Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Magnetic and electric properties in the distorted tetrahedral spin chain system Cu3Mo2O9

open access: yes, 2011
We study the multiferroic properties in the distorted tetrahedral quasi-one dimensional spin system Cu$_3$Mo$_2$O$_9$, in which the effects of the low dimensionality and the magnetic frustration are expected to appear simultaneously.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

"The Development of the Hate Speech Regulation in Hungary: from Criminal Law to Civil Law and Media Regulation"

open access: yesPrzegląd Prawniczy Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza, 2018
In the Hungarian legal system, the anti-hate speech rules of media law provide an ad-ditional (administrative) proceeding for the media authority in parallel with proceedings under criminal law and civil law.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Digital Markets Act and Competition Law: Is There an Issue of ne bis in idem?

open access: yesYearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies
In recent years, the importance of digital markets has grown rapidly. Any distortions in these markets had to be remedied by competition law, notwithstanding the fact that competition law was found in numerous studies not to be entirely up to this task ...

3D Visibility Representations of 1-planar Graphs

open access: yes, 2017
We prove that every 1-planar graph G has a z-parallel visibility representation, i.e., a 3D visibility representation in which the vertices are isothetic disjoint rectangles parallel to the xy-plane, and the edges are unobstructed z-parallel visibilities

Efficient Breadth-First Search on Massively Parallel and Distributed-Memory Machines

open access: yesData Science and Engineering, 2017
There are many large-scale graphs in real world such as Web graphs and social graphs. The interest in large-scale graph analysis is growing in recent years. Breadth-First Search (BFS) is one of the most fundamental graph algorithms used as a component of

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
