Accurate broadband parameter extraction methodology for s-parameter measurements
Proceedings. 9th IEEE Workshop on Signal Propagation on Interconnects, 2005., 2005GHz range operating frequencies of today's semiconductor devices demand accurate interconnect models. Constructing accurate and scalable models require extraction of interconnect parameters namely resistance-R, inductance-L, capacitance-C and conductance-G from measured S-parameters. The parameter extraction is error prone influenced by half-wavelength

The Feature Extraction From the Parameter Space
2016In this article a new solution of characteristic points of the image from the parameter space is presented. The implemented algorithm can be applied to recognition of postcode information. The main objective of this article is to use the Radon Transformation parameter space to obtain an invariant set of character image features, on basis of which ...

Parameter extraction of HEMT models from multibias s-parameters
2009 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2009The aim of the paper is to show how to identify the parameters of various nonlinear circuit models of a high electron mobility transistor from the multibias s-parameter dataset measured on a pHEMT device. A three-step identification procedure is described that uses tested optimization methods.

Parameters affecting microwave‐assisted extraction of withanolides
Phytochemical Analysis, 2001AbstractFocused microwave‐assisted extraction was applied to the extraction of three main withanolides from air‐dried leaves of Iochroma gesnerioides, namely, withaferin A, iochromolide and withacnistin. Six extraction variables, i.e. nature and volume of extracting solvent, sample moisture, extraction time, power of irradiation and particle size, were

In chapter 3, the interactions between the components of a microsystem were formalized using energy based macro-models based on generalized variables, the equivalent circuit approach and hardware description languages, to model the exchange of energy and information between components in a microsystem.

Extraction of the Susy and Higgs parameters
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010If supersymmetry is discovered by the next generation of collider experiments, it will be crucial to determine its fundamental high‐scale parameters. Three scenarios have been recently investigated by the SFitter collaboration : the case where the LHC “only” measures a light Higgs like signal, the case where SUSY signal are discovered at the LHC, and ...

Learning Parameter Tuning for Object Extraction
2006This paper presents a learning-based method for parameter tuning of object recognition systems and its application to automatic road extraction from high resolution remotely sensed (HRRS) images. Our approach is based on region growing using fast marching level set method (FMLSM), and machine learning for automatically tuning its parameters.
