Exploring the Parameter Space of Warm-Inflation Models

open access: yes, 2015
Warm inflation includes inflaton interactions with other fields throughout the inflationary epoch instead of confining such interactions to a distinct reheating era.

Inference in High-Dimensional Parameter Space [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computational Biology, 2015
Model parameter inference has become increasingly popular in recent years in the field of computational epidemiology, especially for models with a large number of parameters. Techniques such as Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC) or maximum/partial likelihoods are commonly used to infer parameters in phenomenological models that best describe some ...

The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline

Integral Transforms Connecting the Hardy space with Barut-Girardello Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We construct a one parameter family of integral transforms connecting the classical Hardy space with a class of weighted Bergman spaces called Barut-Girardello spaces.

The harmonic oscillator in a space with a screw dislocation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We obtain the eigenvalues of the harmonic oscillator in a space with a screw dislocation. By means of a suitable nonorthogonal basis set with variational parameters we obtain sufficiently accurate eigenvalues for an arbitrary range of values of the space-deformation parameter.

Entropy considerations in constraining the mSUGRA parameter space

open access: yes, 2006
We explore the use of two criteria to constraint the allowed parameter space in mSUGRA models. Both criteria are based in the calculation of the present density of neutralinos as dark matter in the Universe.

Parameter-space topology of models for cell polarity

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2014
Reaction–diffusion systems have been widely successful in the theoretical description of biological patterning phenomena, giving rise to numerous models based on differing mechanisms, mathematical implementations and parameter choices.

Universal spaces of parameters for complex Grassmann manifolds $G_{q+1,2}$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Buchstaber and Terzic introduced a notion of universal space of parameters $\mathcal{F}$ for a manifold $M^{2n}$, which has an effective action of compact torus $T^k$ , $k \leq n$ with some additional properties. with special properties. This space is needed to construction of factor $M^{2n}/T^k$.

Finding excesses in model parameter space

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Simulation-based inference (SBI) makes it possible to infer the parameters of a model from high-dimensional low-level features of the observed events. In this work we show how this method can be used to establish the presence of a weak signal on top of ...
