Personalized Network‐Guided Neuromodulation Enhances Human Working Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A personalized neuromodulation framework combining individualized functional brain network targeting with real‐time neural decoding is introduced. Using concurrent TMS–fMRI, participant‐specific stimulation targets and optimal frequencies are identified. Only optimal‐frequency stimulation improves working memory across sessions.

A parametric bootstrap control chart for Lindley Geometric percentiles.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Control charts are vital for quality control and process monitoring, helping businesses identify variations in production. Traditional control charts, like Shewhart charts, may not work well for skewed distributions, such as the Lindley geometric ...

ON THE COMPARISON OF BAYESIAN INFORMATION CRITERION AND DRAPER'S INFORMATION CRITERION IN SELECTION OF AN ASYMMETRIC PRICE RELATIONSHIP: BOOTSTRAP SIMULATION RESULTS [PDF]

open access: yesRussian Journal of Agricultural and Socio-Economic Sciences, 2013
Alternative formulations of the Bayesian Information Criteria provide a basis for choosing between competing methods for detecting price asymmetry. However, very little is understood about their performance in the asymmetric price transmission modelling ...

ML Workflows for Screening Degradation‐Relevant Properties of Forever Chemicals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The environmental persistence of per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) necessitates efficient remediation strategies. This study presents physics‐informed machine learning workflows that accurately predict critical degradation properties, including bond dissociation energies and polarizability.

On the Simulation Study of Jackknife and Bootstrap MSE Estimators of a Domain Mean Predictor for Fay‑Herriot Model

open access: yesActa Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Oeconomica, 2017
We consider the problem of the estimation of the mean squared error (MSE) of some domain mean predictor for Fay‑Herriot model. In the simulation study we analyze properties of eight MSE estimators including estimators based on the jackknife method (Jiang,

Introgressed Variation in TaMYB7‐A1 Drives Graded Dormancy and Climate‐Adaptive Pre‐Harvest Sprouting Resistance in Wheat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...

Seasonal Anomalies in TEHRAN Stock Exchange Returns Non Parametric Bootstrap Approach [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات مالی, 2011
Because of the heterogeneity in behavior, in the real world prices may deviate substantially and persistently from their fundamental values. Of course, if these heterogeneous elements play a rather minor role then asset prices and rates of return will be

High‐Throughput Data Generation and Transfer Learning Enabled Microstructure‐Property Integrated Design of Nickel‐Based Powder Metallurgy Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated transfer learning framework integrates CALPHAD simulations, diffusion‐multiple experiments, and literature data to predict long‐term microstructural stability and short‐term mechanical properties of Ni‐based powder metallurgy superalloys. Based on these model predictions, a high‐performance, low‐density alloy, USTB‐PM750, is designed from

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges
