Comparison of Parametric and Semi-Parametric Binary Response Models [PDF]
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2013 A Bayesian semi-parametric estimation of the binary response model using Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms is proposed. The performances of the parametric and semi-parametric models are presented. The mean squared errors, receiver operating characteristic curve, and the marginal effect are used as the model selection criteria.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
