Relaxation of parametrically excited spin waves in ferrites at low temperatures

We have shown experimentally that the relaxation of a system of parametrically excited spin waves in ferrites is described by two characteristic frequencies, one describing amplitude damping of the spin waves, and the other describing their dephasing.

Magnonic noise in the parametric spin-wave pumping process

Abstract This study investigates magnonic noise in the context of parametric spin-wave pumping in a yttrium iron garnet waveguide. By analyzing the input power dependence of parametric spin-wave spectra, we observed spectrum broadening and the emergence of additional pumping channels.
