Paranasal sinus mucormycosis is a rare and often fatal condition that occasionally occurs in patients with debilitating disease. Five mucormycosis cases with paranasal sinus involvement are reported. Two also complicated diabetes mellitus. These diabetic patients rapidly developed meningitis after the onset of symptoms.
