OCTN2 Activates a Non‐Canonical Carnitine Metabolic Pathway to Promote MASH‐HCC Progression and Immunotherapy Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In non‐MASH‐HCC, L‐carnitine promotes tumor progression primarily through its classical role in enhancing fatty acid oxidation (FAO). However, in MASH‐HCC, where FAO is markedly suppressed, L‐carnitine shifts from this canonical function to serve instead as an intracellular acetyl group buffer.

Single‐Cell Profiling: Any Scale, Any Size, All at Once

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Traditional single‐cell technologies are constrained by cellular dimension and throughput scale, in addition to its inability preserve spatial information. With recent innovations, these technologies now allow high throughput, large‐sized cell, and multi‐modal profiling of patient samples, overcoming these limitations.

Bioinspired Oxygen‑Enriched Nanodiamonds as Electrolytic Erythrocyte Mimics for Dendrite‑Free Zinc‑Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by the cyclic transport of oxygen from the lungs (high‑O2 region) to tissues (low‑O2 region), oxygen‑enriched nanodiamond (OND) is introduced into aqueous zinc‑ion batteries as “electrolyte erythrocytes.” These OND repeatedly shuttle Zn2+ from high‑ to low‑concentration regions, dramatically flattening the Zn2+ gradient and thereby effectively
