Surface Functionalization of Si Nanoparticles by Hydrosilylation: Access to High‐Performance Si Anodes for Li‐Ion Batteries

Surface‐functionalized SiNPs are synthesized by a simple and scalable hydrosilylation method using 4‐vinylpyridine (4VP), 1‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone (1V2P), and acrylic acid (AA). The Si‐4VP‐based Li‐ion cells achieved a promising long life of 300 cycles, retaining 60% of the initial capacity (2375 mAh g−1).

Scalable Liquid‐Phase Exfoliation of h‐BN for Solar‐Reflective and Thermally Stable Polymer Aerogels

High‐pressure homogenization exfoliates hexagonal boron nitride (h‐BN) into stable nanosheets, which are incorporated into PVA, CMC, and HEC matrices to form lightweight composite aerogels. Poly(Vinylidene Fluoride)‐Wrapped LiFePO4 Microspheres as Highly Stable Dual Functional Cathode for Solid‐State Lithium Batteries

A dual functional cathode is made by uniformly dispersing the cathode material (LiFePO4) into the polymer electrolyte poly(vinylidenfluorid‐co‐hexafluorpropylene):lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, resulting in a conformable lamella structure with embedded microspheres.
