As shown by examination of serial histological slides, size and shape of intestinal epithelium cells vary dependingo n their functional state. Digestion rate in Amblyseius reductus established to be considerably lower than in related Phytoseiid mites. In A . reductus vounger digestive cells are involved into digestive process.

Typhlodromus accessorius sp. n. is similar to T. pritchardi Arutunjan but differs in having solenostomes isc on dorsal schield, two denticles on Dm, different form of spermatheca. K. additionalis sp. n.
