Dissonance in redescriptions of Typhlodromus laurae Arutunjan, 1974 made before by different authors is shown. Illustrated redescriptions and diagnoses of two sibling planthabitat phytoseiid species, Typhlodromus laurae Arutunjan, 1974 and Typhlodromus beglarovi Kuznetsov, 1984 are given. Data of their distribution and habitat are discussed.

The ecomorphological adaptations of the mites of the family Phytoseiidae (Parasitiformes, Mesostigmata) from various habitats was conducted. The obtained results represent the background of the explanation of the evolutionary changes on various taxonomic levels within the family.
