Effect of explicit and implicit components of psychologists’ mental experience on their parental competence

open access: yesJournal of Education, Health and Sport, 2021
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of various components of psychologists’ mental experience (ME) on their parental competence (PC) when dealing with children of primary school age. We have distinguished three factors – professional

Self-Evaluation of Parental Competence--Differences between Parents with Pedagogical and Non-Pedagogical Professions.

open access: yes, 2018
Parental competence is closely related to various factors, which can directly or indirectly influence parental behaviour. One of these factors is the level of education, and more recent research show that the parents' choice of profession can be ...

A Review of Controlling Motivational Strategies from a Self-Determination Theory Perspective: Implications for Sports Coaches [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The aim of this paper is to present a preliminary taxonomy of six controlling strategies, primarily based on the parental and educational literatures, which we believe are employed by coaches in sport contexts.

Common Signatures of Altered Gene Regulation and Invasiveness of Different Breast Cancer Cell Lines after Matrix Interface Crossing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Interface transmigration reprograms triple‐negative breast cancer cells, triggering a shared switch toward more aggressive and invasive phenotypes. Using a collagen I interface model, this study identifies shared transcriptional changes involving proliferation, chromatin remodeling, and DNA repair pathways.

Very Rare Complementation between Mitochondria Carrying Different Mitochondrial DNA Mutations Points to Intrinsic Genetic Autonomy of the Organelles in Cultured Human Cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
In the present work, a large scale investigation was done regarding the capacity of cultured human cell lines (carrying in homoplasmic form either the mitochondrial tRNALys A8344G mutation associated with the myoclonic epilepsy and ragged red fiber ...

Low‐Dimensional MOF Nanoarchitectonics: Progress in MOF‐2D Material Hybrid Architectures for Energy Conversion and Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the integration of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and two‐dimensional (2D) materials through dimensional interface engineering. By addressing intrinsic limitations like poor conductivity and agglomeration, these hybrid architectures optimize interfacial charge and mass transport.

Ovarian Matrisome Dynamics and αvβ3‐Mediated Regulation in Early Follicular Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The matrisome undergoes dynamic remodeling during early follicular development. Integrin αvβ3 mediates matrisome signals, regulating primordial follicle activation/atresia and secondary follicle growth via Hippo/mTOR pathways, with conserved roles in human ovaries, offering therapeutic targets for ovarian disorders.

Protein Language Model‐Guided Engineering of a 2,3‐Butanediol Dehydrogenase for the Enantioselective Synthesis of Cyclic α‐Hydroxy Ketones

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A (2R,3R)‐butanediol dehydrogenase from Bacillus subtilis (BsBDH) is engineered for the enantioselective synthesis of 2‐hydroxycyclohexanone. A PASS computational design strategy is proposed to enhance the thermostability of BsBDH. Moreover, ESM‐1v combined with ISM is utilized for enhancing and inverting its stereoselectivity.
