Parietaria mottle virus, a possible new ilarvirus from Parietaria officinalis (Urticaceae).
Plant Pathology, 1989A previously undescribed virus, probably a new member of the ilarvirus group, was isolated from Parietaria oficinalis showing symptoms of yellow mosaic or mottling. This virus, for which the name parietaria mottle virus (ParMV) is proposed, differs in host range from other ilarviruses.

Journal of Chromatography A, 1991High-performance ion-exchange chromatography and immunoaffinity chromatography suggest that Par jI, the principal allergenic component of Parietaria judaica pollen, is a very unstable molecule, which tends to fragment in solution. Several fragments were obtained from Par jI and some of them show positivity toward the anti-Par jI monoclonal antibody ...

Diagnosis of parietaria pollinosis.
Annals of allergy, 1984A prospective study of 54 patients showed that pollinosis due to parietaria is prevalent in Spain and frequently causes asthma and rhinitis. Because of its atypical clinical features, patients are often erroneously thought to have intrinsic asthma. False negative skin tests may occur, probably related to the type of extract used. This may contribute to
