We are reporting what we believe to be the second case of bilateral parotid neoplasm occuring synchronously with differing histologies. We believe that this neoplasm may represent a specific propensity of parotid tissue in a given individual to develop neoplasia in a multipotential glandular organ subject to many neoplastic diseases.

Treatment of malignant neoplasms of the parotid gland
Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 1999In this study we evaluated the effects of surgical and radiotherapy treatment on local control in 126 patients with malignant tumors of the parotid gland. The most frequently observed malignant tumors were high‐grade tumors (68%). Surgical treatment was performed in 81 patients (83.5%).

Multiple synchronous bilateral neoplasms of the parotid glands.
La Clinica terapeutica, 2022In this paper we report the rare case of a patient who came to our attention with three synchronous Warthin tumours affecting both the right and left parotid glands. The patient was a 68-year-old female, heavy smoker, with a seven-year history of painless growing nodules in both pre-auricular areas.
