Thermal/Water‐Stable CsPbX3@SiOx Core–Shell Quantum Dots for Inkjet Printing and Potential Color Converting Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 29, October 13, 2025.
This work shows the synthesis of thermal/water stable single SiOx‐covered CsPbX3 PQDs through a modified ligand‐assisted reprecipitation method (LARP), with enhanced optical properties and facile bandgap modulation by varying the halide content, obtaining promising luminescent inks for inkjet‐printing and color converting applications.

Reversible Vision Loss With Pituitary Microadenoma Following PRP Injection for Hair Growth: A Rare Case Report and a Mini‐Review of the Literature

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) therapy, while widely utilized for its favorable safety profile, carries a recognized risk of catastrophic, irreversible vision loss, traditionally attributed to iatrogenic vascular embolization following facial injections.

Multifunctional Task‐Specific Ionic Liquids on Solid Supports: A Dual Function as Brønsted Catalyst and Solid Solvent for HMF Production from Fructose

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 19, October 1, 2025.
A novel supported ionic liquid phase (SILP) incorporating both dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and sulfonic acid (SO3H) moieties is reported. This SILP significantly enhances the gram‐scale dehydration of fructose‐to HMF when utilized with deep eutectic solvents (DES).

The Impact of Incentives on Valuing Health Risks

open access: yesHealth Economics, Volume 34, Issue 10, Page 1907-1920, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Recent research has found that health risk values elicited using Discrete Choice Experiments (DCEs) may be inadequately sensitive to the magnitude of the risk reduction, a phenomenon referred to as insensitivity to scope. This paper investigates the use of DCEs to estimate the value of a statistical life (VSL) under different experimental ...

Connecting sea to market: Using network analysis to understand social–ecological dynamics in seafood value chains in Pisco, Southern Peru

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 7, Issue 10, Page 2465-2485, October 2025.
Abstract Small‐scale fisheries represent complex human‐nature interactions, targeting different species in different locations throughout the year. On land, fishers are at the core of diverse seafood value chains that serve local and distant markets.
