New methodology to design advanced MR-IRUWB communication system [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters / IEE Electronics Letters (2008) 1412-1413, 2010
A new model is proposed giving the channel capability of a MB-IR-UWB system versus the number of subband and the duty cycle. The architecture simulated shows data rate ranging from 1.434 Gbits/s to 0.9 Gbits/s for 16 to 10 subbands and duty cycle ranging from 20% to 12%.

Bounds on exponential sums over small multiplicative subgroups [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
We show that there is significant cancellation in certain exponential sums over small multiplicative subgroups of finite fields, giving an exposition of the arguments by Bourgain and Chang.

Generalized Abel-Plana formula as a renormalization tool in quantum field theory [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In quantum field theory the vacuum expectation values of physical observables, bilinear in the field operator, diverge. Among the most important points in the investigations of those expectation values is the regularization of divergent expressions, separation of divergences and the renormalization.

Dynamics of dissipative solutions to the Hardy-Sobolev parabolic equation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We study the long-time behaviour of solutions to the Hardy-Sobolev parabolic equation in critical function spaces for any spatial dimension $d \geq 5$. By employing the Fourier splitting method, we establish precise decay rates for dissipative solutions, meaning those whose critical norm vanishes as time approaches infinity. Our findings offer a deeper
