Partially coherent nano-focused x-ray radiation characterized by Talbot interferometry

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
We have studied the spatial coherence properties of a nano-focused x-ray beam by grating (Talbot) interferometry in projection geometry. The beam is focused by a fixed curvature mirror system optimized for high flux density under conditions of partial coherence.

Axial length measurements: Comparison of a new swept-source optical coherence tomography–based biometer and partial coherence interferometry in myopia

open access: green, 2017
Purpose: To compare axial length (AL) measurements between a swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) biometer (IOLMaster 700) and a partial coherence interferometry (PCI) biometer (IOLMaster, version 5.4) in myopic eyes.

Comparison of Refractive Error in Phacovitrectomy for Epiretinal Membrane using Ultrasound and Partial Coherence Interferometry

open access: green, 2015
PURPOSE: To compare the postoperative refractive error (RE) using A-scan ultrasound (US) and partial coherence interferometry (PCI) after phacovitrectomy for idiopathic epiretinal membrane (iERM) and cataract. METHODS: Eighty-eight participants (88 eyes)

Technical failure rates for biometry between swept-source and older-generation optical coherence methods: a review and meta-analysis

open access: yesBMC Ophthalmology, 2023
Purpose Precise ocular measurements are fundamental for achieving excellent target refraction following both cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange. Biometry devices with swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) employ longer wavelengths

Analysis of keratometric measurements in accordance with axial length in an aged population

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
To investigate keratometric measurements according to axial length in an aged population. Patients requiring cataract surgery with keratometric measurements from four different ophthalmic devices (autorefractor/keratometer, Scheimpflug imaging, corneal ...

Comparison of two optical biometers in intraocular lens power calculation

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2014
Aims: To compare the consistency and accuracy in ocular biometric measurements and intraocular lens (IOL) power calculations using the new optical low-coherence reflectometry and partial coherence interferometry.
