The repeatability and agreement of biometric measurements by dual Scheimpflug device with integrated optical biometer

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
To determine the repeatability of biometric measurements by dual Scheimpflug Devices with Integrated Optical Biometers and its agreement with partial coherence interferometry according to the axial length (AL), and the presence of cataracts.

Predictability of intraocular lens power calculation in eyes with average axial lengths: optical versus ultrasonic biometry

open access: yesDelta Journal of Ophthalmology, 2019
Objective The aim of this study was to compare the partial coherence interferometry to ultrasound (US)-based biometry in intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation in eyes with average axial length (AL).

Development and Verification of an Adjustment Factor for Determining the Axial Length Using Optical Biometry in Silicone Oil-Filled Eyes

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2022
The aim of this prospective clinical study was to establish and verify an adaptation for axial length (AL) measurement in silicone oil (SO)-filled pseudophakic eyes with a Scheimpflug and partial coherence interferometry (PCI)-based biometer.

Coherent shift estimation for stacks of SAR images

open access: yes, 2011
Speckle tracking is used with SAR images to estimate displacements, in ways that support or integrate interferometric measurements. This paper derives Fisher information expressions for the displacement estimation using coherent speckle tracking, for the

Template‐Confined Synthesis of Shape‐Engineered Single‐Crystal Gold Microplates in Lithographically‐Defined Polymeric Patterns

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐crystal gold microplates are high‐performance nanomaterials with an impressive wafer‐based application space. Progress has, however, been tempered by an inability to exert synthetic control over microplate size, shape, and positioning. In this work, control over these parameters is demonstrated using a seed‐mediated synthesis that both confines ...

Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Time‐Resolved Simultaneous Mapping of Thickness and Nanoparticle Concentration in Nanofluid Thin Films via Imaging Ellipsometry and Deep‐UV Reflectance Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study establishes a dual‐channel optical metrology framework integrating phase‐shifting imaging ellipsometry and deep‐UV reflectance imaging. This label‐free approach enables simultaneous, time‐resolved mapping of film thickness and nanoparticle (NP) concentration in dynamic nanofluid thin films.

BioEISense: A Microfluidic Platform for Real‐Time Monitoring of Staphylococcus aureus Biofilm Formation and the Efficacy of Antibiofilm Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
BioEISense is a microfluidic device with integrated impedance sensors, for real‐time, label‐free monitoring of S. aureus biofilms. In this study, the biofilm culture conditions were optimized to support sensitive and reproducible detection of biofilm formation and eradication under dynamic flow‐through conditions. The system was also validated for both
