A production inventory model with partial trade credit policy and reliability
Reliability is one of the important factors in production inventory system as well as in the demand of the products. During a production process, the products which are more perfect with higher reliability increase the demand of the product whereas ...

Reversed Thresholds in Partial Credit Models [PDF]
When questionnaire data with an ordered polytomous response format are analyzed in the framework of item response theory using the partial credit model or the generalized partial credit model, reversed thresholds may occur. This led to the discussion of whether reversed thresholds violate model assumptions and indicate disordering of the response ...

Information Functions of the Generalized Partial Credit Model [PDF]
The concept of information functions developed for dichotomous item response models is adapted for the partial credit model. The information func tion is explained in terms of the model parameters and scoring functions. The relationship between the item information function and the item response function also is discussed.

A GENERALIZED PARTIAL CREDIT MODEL: APPLICATION OF AN EM ALGORITHM [PDF]
ABSTRACTThe Partial Credit model with a varying slope parameter has been developed, and it is called the Generalized Partial Credit model. The item step parameter of this model is decomposed to a location and a threshold parameter, following Andrich's Rating Scale formulation. The EM algorithm for estimating the model parameters was derived.

MODELING CREDIT RISK WITH PARTIAL INFORMATION [PDF]
This paper provides an alternative approach to Duffie and Lando [Econometrica 69 (2001) 633-664] for obtaining a reduced form credit risk model from a structural model. Duffie and Lando obtain a reduced form model by constructing an economy where the market sees the manager's information set plus noise. The noise makes default a surprise to the market.

Optimal designs for the generalized partial credit model [PDF]
Analysing ordinal data is becoming increasingly important in psychology, especially in the context of item response theory. The generalized partial credit model ( GPCM ) is probably the most widely used ordinal model and has found application in many large‐scale educational assessment studies
