IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Partial discharge detection in modern power grid

open access: yes, 2022
This paper presents a novel method for partial discharge detection. Generally, the presence of partial discharge in the power grid is unfavorable as it reduces the electricity transmission efficiency and also adversely affects the durability of the line.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

On the Electromagnetic Wave Behavior Due to Partial Discharge in Gas Insulated Switchgears: State-of-Art Review

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The rapid growth of gas insulated switchgears as a compact, efficient, and reliable device has recently been given great attention. Albeit gas insulated switchgears can seldom suffer from failure due to the high resiliency and robustness, some severe ...

The Positive Role of the Partial Discharge Monitoring System in the Partial Discharge Detection of GIS Equipment

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2022
Abstract When gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear and controlgear (GIS) has internal discharge, some faults are difficult to find during inspections due to the enclosed metal casing. This paper introduces the event of the floating potential discharge inside the GIS equipment of a 500kV substation found by GIS on-line monitoring ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
