Real‐world trends in prenatal antirheumatic drug utilization in Ontario, Canada: A cross‐sectional time‐series analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objectives This study aimed to describe real‐world trends in preconception and prenatal use of antirheumatic drugs among pregnant individuals with rheumatic diseases in Ontario, Canada. Methods We conducted a time‐series analysis using repeated cross‐sectional data to examine annual patterns of disease‐modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) use among ...

Spectral Method for Localization of Multiple Partial Discharges in Dielectric Insulation of Hydro-Generator Coils: Simulation and Experimental Results

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
A methodology based on spectral analysis for localization of multiple partial discharges in dielectric region of hydro-generator coils is proposed. This pinpointing of multiple discharges aims to provide means for performing diagnosis of insulating ...

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Investigation of Laser Ablation and Brush Pre‐Treatments for AlCu Cold Roll Bonding in Oxygen‐Free Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Characterization of Nitinol Produced by Laser Powder Bed Fusion for Mechanical Metamaterial Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

A comparison between the YBCO discharge experiments by E. Podkletnov and C. Poher, and their theoretical interpretations

open access: yes, 2013
Experimental results recently published by C. Poher provide independent evidence for the anomalous radiation emitted from YBCO electrodes under short, intense current pulses previously reported by E. Podkletnov.
