Partial Least Squares Regression Trees for Multivariate Response Data With Multicollinear Predictors
Some problems arise in analyzing massive complex data consisting of multivariate response variables and a large number of multicollinear predictor variables, especially when the sample sizes compared to the number of predictors are small.

Regresion PLS y PCA como Solucion al Problema de Multicolinealidad en Regresion Multiple
We present and compare principal components regression and partial least squares regression, and their solution to the problem of multicollinearity. We illustrate the use of both techniques, and demonstrate the superiority of partial least squares.

Implementing PLS for distance-based regression: computational issues [PDF]
Distance-based regression allows for a neat implementation of the Partial Least Squares recurrence. In this paper we address practical issues arising when dealing with moderately large datasets (n ~ 10^4) such as those typical of automobile insurance ...

ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by antibody‐mediated complement activation. Efgartigimod, a neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) antagonist, is approved for treating generalized MG (gMG). However, its modulatory effects on upstream innate and adaptive immune cells remain largely unexplored.

System harmonic impedance calculation based on partial least squares equivalent weight regression
To mitigate the impact of singular values in voltage and current signals on regression results and achieve a more accurate delineation of harmonic responsibilities for both the system and users, this paper proposes a method for calculating system ...

ABSTRACT Objective To determine the concentration of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma in Alexander disease (AxD) and whether GFAP levels are predictive of disease phenotypes. Methods CSF and plasma were collected (longitudinally when available) from AxD participants and non‐AxD controls.

Effects of Biological Sex and Age on Cerebrospinal Fluid Markers—A Retrospective Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis is a key diagnostic tool for neurological diseases. To date, only a few studies have investigated in larger cohorts the effect of age and biological sex on diagnostic markers extracted from CSF. Methods For this retrospective observational study, 4163 CSF findings (2012–2020) were evaluated.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...
