Systemic Nanomechanical Single‐Cell Profiling Reveals Mechanophenotype Transitions Under Therapeutic Perturbation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell mechanomics demonstrates that pharmacological perturbation changes cytoskeletal and cortical structure, suppressing cancer cell invasiveness. By integrating atomic force microscopy (AFM)‐based cortical measurements with stimulated emission depletion (STED)‐resolved adhesion and cytoskeletal organization, this approach identifies nanoscale ...

Machine Learning–Guided Surface Strain Engineering in Connected Platinum–Nickel Nanoparticle Catalysts for Advanced Oxygen Reduction Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Machine learning‐guided strain engineering enables highly active, durable, support‐free Pt–Ni nanonetwork catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction. Analysis of a Pt‐based catalyst dataset identifies surface compressive strain as an effective descriptor associated with enhanced activity and provided practical design guidelines.

Linking Functional and Structural Brain Images with Multivariate Network Analyses: A Novel Application of the Partial Least Square Method

open access: yesNeuroImage, 2009
In this article, we introduce a multimodal multivariate network analysis to characterize the linkage between the patterns of information from the same individual’s complementary brain images, and illustrate its potential by showing its ability to ...

Metal Battery Anode: Rich in Electrons, Rich in Problems: A Critical Review from Industrial Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metal‐anode batteries using Li, Na, Mg, and Ca offer exceptionally high energy density, but dendrites, unstable interphases, cracking, and pore formation hinder durability and safety. This review shows how careful electrolyte and interphase design can stabilize these reactive metals.

[MEG]PLS: A pipeline for MEG data analysis and partial least squares statistics

open access: yesNeuroImage, 2016
The emphasis of modern neurobiological theories has recently shifted from the independent function of brain areas to their interactions in the context of whole-brain networks. As a result, neuroimaging methods and analyses have also increasingly focused on network discovery.

Rhenium‐Based β‐Galactosidase Probe Allows Senescence Profiling by Mass Cytometry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Senescence‐associated β‐galactosidase (SA‐β‐Gal) activity is a widely accepted biomarker of cellular senescence, yet its integration with other senescence markers has been limited by available detection methods. Here, we introduce ReGal, a mass cytometry‐compatible SA‐β‐Gal activity probe that can be multiplexed with established markers of senescence ...

Efectivity of Additive Spline for Partial Least Square Method in Regression Model Estimation

open access: yesMakara Seri Sains, 2005
Additive Spline of Partial Least Square method (ASPL) as one generalization of Partial Least Square (PLS) method. ASPLS method can be acommodation to non linear and multicollinearity case of predictor variables.
