Compaction and Melt Transport in Ammonia-Rich Ice Shells: Implications for the Evolution of Triton [PDF]
Ammonia, if present in the ice shells of icy satellites, could lower the temperature for the onset of melting to 176 K and create a large temperature range where partial melt is thermally stable. The evolution of regions of ammonia-rich partial melt could strongly influence the geological and thermal evolution of icy bodies.

Fast magma ascent, revised estimates from the deglaciation of Iceland [PDF]
Partial melting of asthenospheric mantle generates magma that supplies volcanic systems. The timescale of melt extraction from the mantle has been hotly debated. Microstructural measurements of permeability typically suggest relatively slow melt extraction (1 m/yr) whereas geochemical (Uranium-decay series) and geophysical observations suggest much ...

Spontaneous small‐scale melt segregation in partial melts undergoing deformation [PDF]
A partial melt undergoing large scale deformation is shown to be unstable with respect to small scale redistribution of melt, provided the shear viscosity of the matrix depends on melt fraction. In the physically realistic case where melt “softens” the matrix, melt migrates along the direction parallel to the axis of minimum compressive stress and ...

The LEXOVE prospective study evaluated plasma cell‐free extracellular vesicle (cfEV) dynamics using Bradford assay and dynamic light scattering in metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer patients undergoing first‐line treatments, correlating a ∆cfEV < 20% with improved median progression‐free survival in responders versus non‐responders.

The role of volatiles in reactive melt transport in the asthenosphere [PDF]
Experimental studies of mantle petrology find that small concentrations of water and carbon dioxide have a large effect on the solidus temperature and distribution of melting in the upper mantle. However, it has remained unclear what effect small fractions of deep, volatile-rich melts have on melt transport and reactive melting in the shallow ...

VASP was found to be overexpressed in metastatic oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tissues. Notably, PTTG1‐ and VASP‐deficient OSCC cells demonstrated suppressed metastatic properties by disrupting the interaction between the cytoskeleton and focal adhesion (FAs) in the filopodia region.

High‐grade metamorphism and partial melting of basic and intermediate rocks
Rocks of basic and intermediate bulk composition occur in orogenic terranes from all geological time periods and are thought to represent significant petrological components of the middle and lower continental crust.

Using mass cytometry, we analyzed serial blood samples from patients with relapsed epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) treated with oleclumab–durvalumab combination immunotherapy in the NSGO‐OV‐UMB1/ENGOT‐OV30 trial. Our analysis identified potential predictive, monitoring, and response biomarkers detectable through liquid biopsy. These findings facilitate
