Partial translation algebras for trees

open access: yes, 2009
In [1] we introduced the notion of a partial translation C*-algebra for a discrete metric space. Here we demonstrate that several important classical C*-algebras and extensions arise naturally by considering partial translation algebras associated with ...

BEBERAPA SIFAT PEMETAAN C-KONTRAKTIF DI RUANG METRIK PARSIAL DAN TITIK TETAPNYA

open access: yesE-Jurnal Matematika
Partial metric space is a generalization of ordinary metric space, in partial metric space the axiom d(x,x) is no longer necessarily zero. Partial metric space was first introduced in 1994, since then many researchers have continued to learn about ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

WEAKLY CONTRACTIVE MAPPING IN PARTIAL METRIC SPACE

open access: yes, 2017
Contractive mapping is one kind of mapping that guarantees a fixed point in a metric space  Many experts has developed this kind of mapping to show the existence of a fixed point such as Kannan mapping and Chatterjea Contractive mapping.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Contraction Mapping Theorem in Partial Fuzzy Metric Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering, 2021
The contraction mapping theorem and its application are often encountered in different fields of pure and applied mathematics. In this work, three aims are achieved, which are first of introducing and presenting the basic and fundamental necessary ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Rough convergence of sequences in a partial metric space

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper we have studied the notion of rough convergence of sequences in a partial metric space. We have also investigated how far several relevant results on boundedness, rough limit sets etc.
