Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A: Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films, 2015
In this work, a measurement standard was established for partial pressures in high and ultrahigh vacuum conditions. Three (or more, with higher uncertainty) different gases with known partial pressures from 10−8 to 10−2 Pa can be generated in a calibration chamber of an ultrahigh vacuum system by a continuous expansion method.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1964
A gauge based on the 180° mass spectrometer is described which is simple to make and to operate. It can be used to analyze the constituent gases in a vacuum system at partial pressures as low as 2×10−11 Torr. Several of these instruments have been tested and the sensitivity and resolution have been constant to within 10%.

NGOs under Pressure in Partial Democracies
2014Over the past decade, international human rights organizations and think tanks have expressed a growing concern that the space of civil society organizations around the world is under pressure. This book examines the pressures experienced by NGOs in four partial democracies: Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Double Chamber Partial Pressure Gauge
Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, 1972A partial pressure gauge has been developed in which the interaction between the hot filament and the residual gases is virtually eliminated by placing the filament in an auxiliary vacuum chamber pumped separately. The electron beam passes through a small hole into the ionization chamber.

An oxygen partial pressure sensor
Medical Electronics & Biological Engineering, 1963The oxygen partial pressure of the gas mixture man breathes is an important measurement. A sensor is described which makes use of the reaction of oxygen with hydrogen in the presence of catalytic platinum to produce water and electrical energy. The voltage output is a direct function of the oxygen partial pressure.

Pressures of Partial Standing Waves
Journal of the Waterways and Harbors Division, 1968The effect of bottom slope, the base-rubble mounds of composite-type breakwaters, wave overtopping, and strong winds on the intensity and vertical distribution of pressures exerted on vertical walls by partial standing waves are presented. The partial or imperfect standing waves were generated in front of vertical walls located on the bottom of 1/20 ...
