Partial pressure measurement standard for characterizing partial pressure analyzers and measuring outgassing rates

Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A: Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films, 2015
In this work, a measurement standard was established for partial pressures in high and ultrahigh vacuum conditions. Three (or more, with higher uncertainty) different gases with known partial pressures from 10−8 to 10−2 Pa can be generated in a calibration chamber of an ultrahigh vacuum system by a continuous expansion method.

Phosphorescent Microneedle Array for the Measurement of Oxygen Partial Pressure in Tissue.

ACS Sensors, 2022
The knowledge of the exact oxygen partial pressure in tissue is crucial for patient care and in the treatment of ischemic medical conditions. However, current methods to assess oxygen partial pressure in tissue suffer from a variety of disadvantages ...

Absorption and Removal Efficiency of Low-Partial-Pressure H2S in a Monoethanolamine-Activated N-Methyldiethanolamine Aqueous Solution

Energy & Fuels, 2019
The absorption performance of low-partial-pressure H2S in a monoethanolamine (MEA)-activated N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) aqueous solution was investigated. The absorption amount (in mass, g H2S/g solutions) and H2S loadings (mol H2S/(mol MEA + mol MDEA)

Highly Efficient and Reversible Capture of Low Partial Pressure SO2 by Functional Deep Eutectic Solvents

Energy & Fuels, 2018
Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) have been seen as promising absorbents for SO2 capture in recent years. In this work, a series of DESs based on imidazole derivatives were synthesized to investigate the low pressure SO2 absorption.

Simple Partial Pressure Gauge

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1964
A gauge based on the 180° mass spectrometer is described which is simple to make and to operate. It can be used to analyze the constituent gases in a vacuum system at partial pressures as low as 2×10−11 Torr. Several of these instruments have been tested and the sensitivity and resolution have been constant to within 10%.
