where s=pn>1, p a prime and n a positive integer. The design of (1.1) corresponding to s = 2 was constructed by Bose and Shimamoto [4] by another method. All other designs of (1.1) are new. Bose [1] and Bose and Nair [3] have used finite geometries and Galois fields in the construction of incomplete block designs.
