Partially coherent radially polarized circular Airy beam.

Optics Letters, 2020
We propose and demonstrate a new, to the best of our knowledge, kind of partially coherent vector beam called the partially coherent radially polarized circular Airy beam (PCRPCAB).

Partially coherent Ince–Gaussian beams

Optics Letters, 2020
We report on the study and generation of Ince–Gaussian beams in the spatially partially coherent regime. The inherent random fluctuations both in time and space of these partially coherent fields make their characterization difficult. Our results show that the cross-correlation function (CCF) provides insight into the composition of the Ince–Gaussian ...

Partially coherent Pearcey–Gauss beams

Optics Letters, 2020
We investigate the dynamics of partially coherent Pearcey–Gauss beams propagating in free space, theoretically and experimentally. They are produced by introducing the degree of coherence (DOC) function with Gaussian Schell-model correlation into the light source in the frequency domain.

Theoretical and computational study of a partially coherent laser beam in a marine environment

Physica Scripta, 2022
The propagation formula of a partially coherent Generalized Flattened Hermite-Cosh-Gaussian (GFHChG) beam in maritime atmospheric turbulence is derived with the help of the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle.

Partially coherent nonparaxial beams

Optics Letters, 2004
The concept of a partially coherent nonparaxial beam is proposed. A closed-form expression for the propagation of nonparaxial Gaussian Schell model (GSM) beams in free space is derived and applied to study the propagation properties of nonparaxial GSM beams.

Tightly focused properties of partially coherent radially polarized power-exponent-phase vortex beam

Chinese Physics B, 2022
In this paper, a partially coherent beam called radially polarized multi-Gaussian Schell-model power-exponent-phase vortex beam is introduced. Both the analytical formula of the beam propagating through the high numerical aperture objective lens based ...

Partially coherent conical beams

Optics Letters, 2000
We introduce a new class of partially coherent beams that can propagate over large distances without changing their transverse profiles and their coherence properties. Such beams are generated by an incoherent superposition of identical fully coherent beams of arbitrary form, whose axes lie on a cone.

Coherent and partially coherent twisting beams

Optical Review, 1994
We present coherent and partially coherent beams that exhibit transverse pattern expansion and rotation upon free propagation. Coherent twisting beams may be generated by a suitable superposition of Laguerre-Gauss modes, while a model for partially coherent twisting beams is given by a continuous incoherent superposition of lowest order modes.
