Path‐Connected Partially Ordered Sets
Studies in Applied Mathematics, 1979The graph of a partially ordered set (X, ⩽) has X as its set of vertices and (x,y) is an edge if and only if x covers y or y covers x. The poset is path‐connected if its graph is connected. Two integer‐valued metrics, distance and fence, are defined for path‐connected posets.

Rough Sets in Partially Ordered Sets
2010 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2010It is well-known to us that the Pawlak’s rough set theory, an effective tool to deal with uncertainty and granularity in information systems, is based on equivalence relation. However, in some situations, those conditions of equivalence relation are hardly met.

Ordering Uniform Completions of Partially Ordered Sets
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1974Let (P, ) be a (nearly) uniform ordered space. Let (P, ) be the uniform completion of (P, ) at . Several partial orders for P are introduced and discussed. One of these orders provides an adjoint to the functor which embeds the category of uniformly complete uniform ordered spaces in the category of uniform ordered spaces, both categories with ...

Component partially ordered sets
Mathematical Notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, 1971Properties of component partially ordered sets (i.e., dense subsets of Boolean algebras) are used to construct mappings of Boolean algebras generalizing the idea of homomorphisms; the properties of a minimal Boolean algebra generated by a given component partially ordered set are investigated.

Tripled partially ordered sets
2014In this paper, we introduce tripled partially ordered sets and monotone functions on tripled partially ordered sets. Some basic properties on these new dened sets are studied and some examples for clarifying are given.

Spectral partially ordered sets
Communications in Algebra, 2017We examine some topics related to (gold)spectral partially ordered sets, i.e., those that are order isomorphic to (Goldman) prime spectra of commutative rings.

Homogeneous Partially Ordered Sets
1993In [9], Schmerl classified the countable partially ordered sets which are homogeneous. This classification was extended by Droste who studied partially ordered sets (henceforth to be known as posets) which are 2-homogeneous. In this paper we will survey their results and others on posets which are either homogeneous or partially homogeneous.
