Measurement of e + e − → ωη′ cross sections at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 2.000 to 3.080 GeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We measured the Born cross sections for the process e + e − → ωη′ at 22 center-of-mass energies from 2.000 to 3.080 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. We observed a resonant structure with a statistical significance of 9.6σ.

Thermal description of hadron production in e+e- collisions revisited

open access: yes, 2009
We present a comprehensive analysis of hadron production in e+e- collisions at different center-of-mass energies in the framework of the statistical model of the hadron resonance gas.

Synergistic Effect of Dual Particle-Size AuNPs on TiO2 for Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2019
Design of efficient catalysts for photocatalytic water-splitting hydrogen evolution is of fundamental importance for the production of sustainable clean energy. In this study, a dual particle-size AuNPs/TiO2 composite containing both small (16.9 ± 5.5 nm)

Prompt and nonprompt ψ(2S) production in pPb collisions at s NN $$ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $$ = 8.16 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The production of ψ(2S) mesons in proton-lead collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of s NN $$ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $$ = 8.16 TeV is studied with the LHCb detector using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 34 nb −1.

New narrow N*(1685) resonance: review of observations

open access: yes, 2014
The recent Review of Particle Physics [1] includes a new narrow N*(1685) resonance. Its properties, the narrow width and the strong photoexcitation on the neutron, are unusual.

Measurements of inclusive and differential cross sections for top quark production in association with a Z boson in proton-proton collisions at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Measurements are presented of inclusive and differential cross sections for Z boson associated production of top quark pairs ( t t ¯ Z $$ \textrm{t}\overline{\textrm{t}}\textrm{Z} $$ ) and single top quarks (tZq or tWZ).

Electroweak non-resonant NLO corrections to e+ e- -> W+ W- b bbar in the t tbar resonance region

open access: yes, 2010
We analyse subleading electroweak effects in the top anti-top resonance production region in e+ e- collisions which arise due to the decay of the top and anti-top quarks into the W+ W- b bbar final state.

Measurement of the Y(nS) polarizations in pp collisions at s=7 $$ \sqrt{s}=7 $$ and 8 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
The polarization of the Y(1S), Y(2S) and Y(3S) mesons, produced in pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies s=7 $$ \sqrt{s}=7 $$ and 8 TeV, is measured using data samples collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1 and

A Stopped delta-matter source in heavy ion collisions at 10-GeV/N? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We predict the formation of highly dense baryon-rich resonance matter in Au+Au collisions at AGS energies. The final pion yields show observable signs for resonance matter. The Delta1232 resonance is predicted to be the dominant source for pions of small
