Gradation evolution model based on particle breakage characteristics for rockfill materials
Particle crushing will change the density and gradation curves of geotechnical materials, and then influence their stress-strain behavior. The proposed gradation evolution model, based on the particle breakage characteristics of natural rocks, is to ...

Tunable High‐Performance Metamaterial Filters Based on Novel SRR Architectures
Based on two novel SRR configurations and two independent SRR integration approaches, four tunable bandpass metamaterial filters were fabricated with an ultra‐thin ceramic substrate. Among them, SM‐2 achieves over 97% electromagnetic wave transmittance, with a minimal 1.15% deviation in its resonant frequency prediction, making them promising ...

V2CTx MXene as a Sacrificial Promoter for NiFe Catalyst for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers
These findings demonstrate that V2CTx functions beyond passive conductive support as an active electronic participant whose structural legacy sustains durable performance even after vanadium leaching in Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) Electrolysers. ABSTRACT Nickel‐iron layered double hydroxides (NiFe‐LDH) show excellent activity, their poor conductivity

Investigation on single sand particle crushing criterion using peridynamic method
Particle crushing is an important microstructural phenomenon of granular materials such as sand. Many macroscopic behaviors of sand including yielding and failure are closely related to the crushing of particles. In the field of geotechnical engineering,

Influence of particle size on wear rate in compressive crushing
The influence of particle size on wear rate in compressive crushing of rock was investigated experimentally. A test apparatus was developed to replicate the squeezing wear that is present in many rock crushers.

Lattice Distortion‐Driven Metal Exsolution in Perovskite Oxides
This study elucidates the mechanism of lattice distortion‐driven exsolution through a combination of computational simulations and experimental approaches. Lattice distortion facilitates the formation of oxygen vacancies and subsequent metal segregation, thereby enhancing the exsolution behavior.

Efficient Direct Recycling of Spent Batteries: Integrated Lithiation and Delamination
An integrated process for the delamination and relithiation of spent cathodes, LixNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 and LixFePO4, under open‐air conditions is proposed. The transition‐metal (Ni) oxidation state in the cathode is reduced by the oxidation of diethylene glycol, facilitating relithiation. Glycol aldehyde formation induces 100% electrode delamination.
