Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

End-to-End Detector Optimization with Diffusion Models: A Case Study in Sampling Calorimeters
Recent advances in machine learning have opened new avenues for optimizing detector designs in high-energy physics, where the complex interplay of geometry, materials, and physics processes has traditionally posed a significant challenge.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Neuromorphic Readout for Hadron Calorimeters
We simulate hadrons impinging on a homogeneous lead tungstate (PbWO4) calorimeter using GEANT4 software to investigate how the resulting light yield and its temporal structure, as detected by an array of light-sensitive sensors, can be processed by a ...

Hybrid tracking detector based on semiconductor and gas technologies
New Silicon-Gas Pixel Detector (SiGPD) is the result of the further development already proposed Gas-Pixel Detector (GPD). The only disadvantage of GPD was the uncertainty of the particle arriving time.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Measurement of the Differential Production Cross Section of W Bosons and Charge Asymmetry at s = 7 TeV with the ATLAS Detector [PDF]
This document presents a measurement of the production cross section of W bosons and of its charge asymmetry in proton-proton collisions at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector. These measurements provide information on the momentum

A Capacitive Particle-Analyzing Smoke Detector for Very Early Fire Detection
Smoke detectors face the challenges of increasing accuracy, sensitivity, and high reliability in complex use environments to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and reliability of very early fire detection. The improvement in and innovation of the principle

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

EXPERIMENTAL TECHNIQUE TO MEASURE THORON GENERATION RATE OF BUILDING MATERIAL SAMPLES USING RAD7 DETECTOR [PDF]
Thoron (220Rn) is the second most abundant radon isotope in our living environment. In some dwellings it is present in significant amount which calls for its identification and remediation. Indoor thoron originates mainly from building materials. In this
