Data-Driven Voltage Control Method of Active Distribution Networks Based on Koopman Operator Theory

open access: yesMathematics
The advent of large-scale distributed generation (DG) has introduced several challenges to the voltage control of active distribution networks (ADNs).

Partition: variations sur un thème majeur de géographie politique

open access: yesL'Espace Politique, 2010
In the depth of political geography, partition has been mainly scrutinized by English-speaking political geographers. The suggested paper is showing the position of the concept within the history of political geography. The partition processes are looked

Partition Statistics for Cubic Partition Pairs [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2011
In this brief note, we give two partition statistics which explain the following partition congruences: \begin{align*} b(5n+4) &\equiv 0 \pmod{5}, \\ b(7n+a) &\equiv 0 \pmod{7}, \text{if $a=2$, $3$, $4$, or $6$}. \end{align*} Here, $b(n)$ is the number of $4$-color partitions of $n$ with colors $r$, $y$, $o$, and $b$ subject to the ...

Establishing an Apheresis Medicine Program in a Resource‐Constrained Setting: A 5‐Year Experience From Lagos, Nigeria

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Establishing a comprehensive apheresis medicine program in a resource‐constrained setting presents significant structural, financial, and logistical challenges. Despite the growing clinical importance of apheresis services globally, published experience from sub‐Saharan Africa remains sparse.

List partitions

open access: yesFormal Aspects of Computing, 1993
Abstract By definition, a partition of a list is a division of that list into nonempty contiguous segments. Many programming and operations research problems can be specified in terms of list partitions, and we present a hierarchy of theorems for deriving programs from such specifications.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

PROGRAM FOR FINDING OUT NUMBER OF SMARANDACHE DISTINCT RECIPROCAL PARTITION OF UNITY OF A GIVEN LENGTH [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Smarandache Distinct Reciprocal partition of unity for a given length 'n' is defined as the number of ways in which unity can be expressed as the sum of the reciprocals of 'n' distinct numbers.

The B-Domatic Number of a Graph

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2013
Besides the classical chromatic and achromatic numbers of a graph related to minimum or minimal vertex partitions into independent sets, the b-chromatic number was introduced in 1998 thanks to an alternative definition of the minimality of such ...
