Implementation for the cases (5, 4) and (5, 4)/(2, 0)

open access: yesOpen Engineering
The goal of this work is to investigate the use of the ѠѠeyl module's resolution in the situation of two rows described in the partitions (5, 4) and (5, 4)/(2, 0), utilizing the homological ѠѠeyl after we find the terms of these resolutions.

Power partitions

open access: yesJournal of Number Theory, 2016
In 1918, Hardy and Ramanujan published a seminal paper which included an asymptotic formula for the partition function. In their paper, they also claim without proof an asymptotic equivalence for $p^k(n)$, the number of partitions of a number $n$ into $k$-th powers.

Association of CDKN2A/B Homozygous Deletion and Extent of Resection With Survival of Patients With WHO CNS5 Grade 4 Astrocytoma

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives WHO grade 4 astrocytomas are associated with poor prognosis, and their prognostic factors remain controversial. This study aimed to identify the prognostic factors and develop a management algorithm for these patients. Methods This study retrospectively included 151 CNS5 adult grade 4 astrocytomas from two medical centers.

A Prospective Study of Individuals at Risk of Multiple Sclerosis Informs the Design of Primary Prevention Studies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective In multiple sclerosis, the optimal time for deploying a therapeutic intervention is before the central nervous system is damaged; given the success of trials treating the earliest stage of MS, the radiologically isolated syndrome, developing primary prevention strategies is an important next challenge.

Normal‐Appearing White Matter Injury Mediates Chronic Deep Venous Hypoxia and Disease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.
