Pion generalized parton distributions and light-front wave functions in the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model
Pion generalized parton distributions and light-front wave functions are investigated in the framework of Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model. The properties of pion generalized parton distributions and light-front wave functions are examined separately. Proceeding

An analysis of polarized parton distribution functions with nonlinear QCD evolution equations
We present the polarized parton distribution functions from a QCD analysis of the worldwide polarized deep inelastic scattering data, based on the dynamical parton distribution model.

PARTON DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS IN NUCLEI [PDF]
Optimum nuclear parton distributions are determined by an analysis of muon and electron deep inelastic scattering data. Assuming simple A dependence and polynomial functions of x and 1-x for nuclear modification of parton distributions, we determine the initial distributions by a chi^2 analysis.

We discuss the determination of the parton substructure of hadrons by casting it as a peculiar form of pattern recognition problem in which the pattern is a probability distribution, and we present the way this problem has been tackled and solved. Specifically, we review the NNPDF approach to PDF determination, which is based on the combination of a ...

Nuclear parton distribution functions [PDF]
We study nuclear effects of charged current deep inelastic neutrino-iron scattering in the framework of a chi^2 analysis of parton distribution functions (PDFs). We extract a set of iron PDFs which are used to compute x_Bj-dependent and Q^2-dependent nuclear correction factors for iron structure functions which are required in global analyses of free ...

Parton Distribution Functions and Lattice QCD [PDF]
Recently, there have been rapid developments in lattice-QCD calculations of proton structure, especially in the parton distribution functions (PDFs). We overcame a longstanding obstacle and for the first time in lattice-QCD are able to directly calculate

Distribution functions for partons in nuclei [PDF]
We suggest that a previously conjectured relation between Structure Functions (SF) for nuclei and nucleons also links distribution functions (df) for partons in a nucleus and in nucleons. The above suggestion ensures in principle identical results for SF $F_2^A$, whether computed with hadronic or partonic degrees of freedom.

Evolution of parton showers and parton distribution functions [PDF]
Initial state evolution in parton shower event generators involves parton distribution functions. We examine the probability for the system to evolve from a higher scale to a lower scale without an initial state splitting. A simple argument suggests that this probability, when multiplied by the ratio of the parton distributions at the two scales ...
