Transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions for spin-1 hadrons

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2022
We show transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs) for spin-1 hadrons including twist-3 and 4 functions by taking the decomposition of a quark correlation function in the Lorentz-invariant way with the conditions of Hermiticity

Parton distribution functions [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1997
Parton distribution functions give the probability to find partons (quarks and gluons) in a hadron as a function of the fraction x of the proton's momentum carried by the parton. They are conventionally defined in terms of matrix elements of certain operators.

Nucleon quasi-parton distributions in the large Nc limit

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
In this letter, we investigate the nucleon quasi-parton distribution functions in the chiral quark soliton model. We derive a set of sum-rules depending on the velocity of the nucleon and on the Dirac matrix defining the distribution functions.

Behavior of diffractive parton distribution functions [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
Diffractive parton distribution functions give the probability to find a parton in a hadron if the hadron is diffractively scattered. We provide an operator definition of these functions and discuss their relation to diffractive deeply inelastic scattering and to photoproduction of jets at HERA.

Electroweak gauge boson parton distribution functions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
Transverse and longitudinal electroweak gauge boson parton distribution functions (PDFs) are computed in terms of deep-inelastic scattering structure functions, following the recently developed method to determine the photon PDF. The calculation provides

Semi-inclusive deeply inelastic electron nucleus scattering in the eN collinear frame

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
Our understanding of the parton-level structure in the nucleon comes predominantly from the electron deeply inelastic scattering measurements with very high precision. It deserves further study.

Parton Distribution Functions in the CTEQ framework

open access: yesDera Natung Government College Research Journal, 2020
Parton distribution functions (PDFs) are important to study the structure of the proton and hence the dynamics of quarks and gluons inside it. We study some of the PDFs from global CTEQ (Coordinated Theoretical-Experimental project on QCD) analysis in a ...

A data-based parametrization of parton distribution functions

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
Since the first determination of a structure function many decades ago, all methodologies used to determine structure functions or parton distribution functions (PDFs) have employed a common prefactor as part of the parametrization.

Generalized parton distribution functions of $\rho$ meson

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2020
We report our recent calculations for the generalized parton distribution functions of the $\rho$ meson with the help of a light-front constituent quark model. The electromagnetic form factors and structure functions of the system are given. Moreover,
