Fate of N additions in a multiple resource‐limited Mediterranean oak savanna
Abstract Mediterranean oak savannas, such as Spanish dehesas, are multiple resource‐limited ecosystems found in semiarid regions which are key contributors to interannual variability of the global carbon (C) budget. Interactions between nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) cycles are expected to play a major role in overall ecosystem function as ...

We study the multiplicity dependence of jet structures in pp collisions using Monte Carlo event generators. We give predictions for multiplicity‐differential jet structures and present evidence for a nontrivial jet shape dependence on charged hadron event multiplicity that can be used as a sensitive tool to experimentally differentiate between equally ...

Constraints on Higgs Effective Couplings in Hνν¯ Production of CLIC at 380 GeV
The potential of the e+e-→νν¯H process in the first stage of CLIC considering center‐of‐mass energy of 380 GeV and assuming the baseline integrated luminosity of 500 fb -1 is examined to probe CP‐conserving dimension‐six operators in a model‐independent Standard Model effective field theory framework. In the analysis, a detailed fast simulation on e+e-→

An Overview of Scale Invariance in Proton Structure With Holographic Insights
The concept of self‐similarity in the internal structure of the proton, rooted in scale invariance and fractal geometry, provides an intriguing framework for understanding the behavior of parton distribution functions (PDFs), particularly in the small x region probed in deep inelastic scattering (DIS).

Searches for Massive Graviton Resonances at the LHC
The Standard Model problems lead to the new theories of extra dimensions: Randall‐Sundrum model, Arkani‐Hamed‐Dimopoulos‐Dvali model, and TeV−1 model. In the framework of these models, with the help of computer program Pythia8.2, the production cross sections for Kaluza‐Klein particles at various energies at the LHC were calculated.

The evolution of wind gusts is difficult to observe because gusts are short‐lived phenomena that can originate at higher altitudes. During the Field Experiment on Sub‐mesoscale Spatio‐Temporal Variability in Lindenberg (FESSTVaL), novel ground‐based remote‐sensing methodologies were applied to measure wind with Doppler lidars in order to provide the ...

Exclusion Limits on a Scalar Decaying to Photons and Distinguishing Its Production Mechanisms
LHC run‐II has a great potential to search for new resonances in the diphoton channel. Latest 13 TeV data already put stringent limits on the cross sections in the diphoton channel assuming the resonance is produced through the gluon‐gluon fusion. Many beyond the Standard Model (SM) theories predict TeV‐scale scalars, which copiously decay to diphotons.

A Heavy Scalar at the LHC from Vector‐Boson Fusion
A hypothetical scalar mixed with the standard model Higgs appears in few contexts of new physics. This study addresses the question what mass range is in the reach of 14 TeV LHC given different magnitudes of mixing angle α, where event simulations are based on production from vector‐boson fusion channel and decays into SM leptons through WW or ZZ.

Searching for the Minimal Seesaw Models at the LHC and Beyond
The existence of the tiny neutrino mass and the flavor mixing can be naturally explained by type I Seesaw model which is probably the simplest extension of the Standard Model (SM) using Majorana type SM gauge singlet heavy Right Handed Neutrinos (RHNs).
